✍🏻Writer’s Check-In: Dev Edits are IN - Revisions Begin

✍🏻 Revisions. I am privileged to have a wonderful and personal developmental editor, NightShade Editorial.

We discussed all the sticky parts and insecure aspects I had. We laughed and I confessed to crying upon reading the feedback. It was a good cry y'all.

After our call, I felt incredibly more equipped to take on the next stepping stone: Plot Structure and Character Arc Revisions. I'm in the next level super nova eyes wide open and it's beautiful & scary phase.

I took time to re-align my plot structure to a new story structure, and I needled out my characters' motives and growth. The loose threads are knitted together, and the "why" is sorted out. This has set me on a new path forward.

This manuscript has grown beyond my original vision since the first draft. It is incredible. The hard hard work is before me, and the plan is laid out. The main-set of characters has been consulted, Ithaca approved 👌🏼🗡️everyone else can shove it! hehe

I will be focusing unlike ever before til June - Happy Revising! 💜
